Tech Billionaire’s Foundation Pledges $250 Million for Cancer Research

The Parker Foundation, started by Napster founder Sean Parker, pledged $250 million to six cancer centers for immunotherapy research, reports USA Today.
The donation will open the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy in San Francisco, where Memorial Sloan Kettering, Stanford Medicine, the University of California at Los Angeles, the University of California at San Francisco, University of Texas MD Anderson, and the University of Pennsylvania will share scientists and research findings.
