LinkedIn for Nonprofits: Building Your Network

November 10, 2015 | Read Time: 1 minute

Setting up your personal or organizational profile on LinkedIn is just the beginning. How can you start a dialogue and keep the conversation going?

In this short video, Marc W. Halpert, who provides LinkedIn training through his consultancy Connect2Collaborate, offers advice for building your network by posting news and updates.

You can share news from other sources or your own ideas, and start discussions with a large group of people or just a select few. Always follow one simple rule: Be helpful.

See more advice and examples in the video below, hosted by The Chronicle’s Cody Switzer.
