Determine the criteria that are most important to the organization in a relationship database before testing products. Don’t buy anything with more bells and whistles than your charity truly needs.
Take advantage of the trial period.
Do identical searches in different databases and compare the results. Run reports on people the organization knows well to determine the quality of the information provided.
