Leaders in Strategic Philanthropy Join Forces
June 4, 2014
Two prominent nonprofits providing strategic giving advice have merged, Forbes writes.
The union between San Francisco-based Philanthropy Workshop West and the Institute for Philanthropy, which has offices in New York and London, establishes a new entity, the Philanthropy Workshop. Glen Galaich, previously with the Philanthropy Workshop West, will serve as the chief executive of combined group.
The merger creates a global network of more than 300 philanthropists that will be the largest forum offering donors “the skills and the confidence needed to make the best possible difference with their giving,” according to a press release announcing the move.
