March 6, 2014

The foundation of Canadian-Israeli real-estate magnate David Azrieli is donating $21-million toward developing the new Tel Aviv campus of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, writes the Jerusalem Post.

The new division of the university’s Continuing Education and External Studies program will be named for Mr. Azrieli, whose gift is also funding a business master’s degree track focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship. He studied at Technion in the 1940s and is a member of the university’s board of governors.
