Contest Seeks Ideas to Prevent Genocide

The aid agency, together with the human-rights group Humanity United, is running a competition to identify promising ideas for how technology can help predict areas that are vulnerable to atrocities, communicate with victims during a crisis, and collect information during an atrocity.
Proposals are due April 16. Prize money totaling $60,000 will be awarded.
