How she uses technology for good: Ms. Johnston teaches Web coding and other skills to women through an organization called Girl Develop It, which works to help females gain a foothold in a male-dominated world. She also volunteers with Developers for Good, a network of volunteer developers and software engineers who help nonprofits.
