Board Members Resign After Nonprofit Cuts Key Staff Members

In the aftermath of recent staff layoffs, three out of 11 board members of Marin Services for Woman, in Greenbrae, Calif., have resigned their posts, according to the Marin Independent Journal. It is unclear to what extent the layoffs affected the board members’ decisions to step down, but at least two of the three said publicly that they were concerned about the direction in which the human-service group is heading.
