Virginia Opera Group Disbands

The American Opera Theater, in Christiansburg, Va., is disbanding at the end of its season in May, reports The Washington Post. The opera company’s founder, Timothy Nelson, said the organization may continue on in some capacity, possibly as a production company that produces individual projects for arts festivals.
