Child-Safety Groups Plan to Merge

Two Washington groups, Safe Kids Worldwide and the Home Safety Council, plan to merge, according to a news release on Home Safety Council’s Web site. Both organizations work to prevent accidental childhood injuries. The merger should be finalized by 2011 and the new entity will operate under the Safe Kids name.
