Virginia Hospitals Announce Merger

Martha Jefferson Hospital, a 107-year-old hospital in Charlottesville, Va., plans to merge with Sentara Healthcare, in Norfolk, Va., according to The Daily Progress. Hospital officials said the merger should take about six months to complete, and they said there would be no layoffs.
