Drug-Abuse Education Program Merges With Police Foundation

The Drug Abuse Resistance Education program, in Long Beach, Calif., which closed last year, has been resurrected through a merger with the Long Beach Police Foundation, the Press-Telegram reports. The Long Beach Police Foundation is a nonprofit community organization that is separate from the Long Beach Police Department but provides the department with financial and community assistance.
