New Development and Marketing Director at the Belcourt Theatre Named; Other Personnel Changes in the Nonprofit World

American Diabetes Association, Gateway Division (St. Louis): Appointed Kristi Meyers Gallup, director of development at the Humane Society of Missouri, to be executive director.

Belcourt Theatre (Nashville): Appointed Haylee Waddey Hall, director of development and outreach at Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Greater Nashville Affiliate, to be development and marketing director.

Bridgeport Child Advocacy Coalition (Conn.): Appointed Mary Pat Curran Healy, community-relations and government liaison at AT&T Connecticut (New Haven), to be executive director.

Catalog for Giving of New York City: Appointed Mike Capobianco, national director at New Leaders for New Schools (New York), to be executive director of this organization, which raises money for emerging local organizations that help low-income children.

Family Tree (Wheat Ridge, Colo.): Appointed Judy Hall, Boulder community director at the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado, to be managing director of gifts and community support. Family Tree assists youths and families who have experienced child abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness.


Foundation for Jewish Camp (New York): Appointed Jeremy J. Fingerman, founder and managing principal of Clairmont Ventures (Englewood, N.J.), to be chief executive officer. Mr. Fingerman succeeds Jerry Silverman, who is now president of Jewish Federations of North America (New York).

Glimmerglass Opera (Cooperstown, N.Y.): Appointed Francesca Zambello, artistic adviser at the San Francisco Opera, to be general and artistic director.

Innocence Project New Orleans: Appointed Jené O’Keefe Trigg, managing director of Pro-Media Communications, based in New York, to be communications and development director. This group provides legal representation to people in Louisiana and Mississippi who have been wrongfully convicted of crimes.

Mother Jones (San Francisco): Appointed Madeleine Buckingham, chief financial officer, to be president and chief executive officer, and Steven Katz, vice president for strategy and development, to be vice president and publisher. Both succeed Jay Harris, president and publisher, who has resigned. (This corrects previously published information.)

National Housing Conference (Washington): Appointed Maureen Friar, executive director of the Supportive Housing Network of New York, to be president and chief executive officer of this organization, which advocates policies that promote low-cost housing.


North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System (Great Neck, N.Y.): Appointed Kevin Dwyer, corporate director of development for the organization’s foundation, to be senior vice president and chief development officer.

Opera for the Young (Madison, Wis.): Appointed Dan Plummer, managing director, to be general director.

Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Philadelphia): Appointed Rachel M. Lippoff, chief development officer at Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia (Maple Shade, N.J.), to be director of development.

Seedco (New York): Appointed Barbara Dwyer Gunn, senior vice president for operations and government relations at the American Museum of Natural History (New York), to be president and chief executive officer. Ms. Gunn succeeds Diane Baillargeon, who has resigned.

United States Tennis Association Serves (White Plains, N.Y.): Appointed Deborah Slaner Larkin, a community volunteer in Pelham, N.Y., to be executive director of this philanthropic arm of the USTA.

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (Seattle): Appointed Carol Dahl, director of discovery for the foundation’s Global Health Program, to be director of staff, and Chris Wilson, deputy director for vaccine discovery and human biology in the Global Health Program, to be interim director of discovery.

The California Endowment (Los Angeles): Appointed Marley Klaus, former executive producer of California Connected (Los Angeles), to be director of communications and media, and Ruth Wernig, treasurer at the U. of Southern California (Los Angeles), to be chief investment officer.

Ford Foundation (New York): Appointed Darren Walker, vice president for foundation initiatives at the Rockefeller Foundation (New York), to be vice president for education, creativity, and free expression.

John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation (Chicago): Appointed Alaina Harkness, former program manager at the 2016 Fund for Chicago Neighborhoods, to be program officer for community and economic development, and Ianna Kachoris, project manager for the Economic Mobility Project at the Pew Charitable Trusts, based in Washington, to be program officer for affordable housing.


Siemens Foundation (Iselin, N.J.): Appointed Jeniffer Harper-Taylor, vice president, to be president. Ms. Harper-Taylor succeeds James Whaley, who will become vice chair of the Board of Directors.
