The iPhone and Philanthropy

June 29, 2007 | Read Time: 1 minute

Unless you’ve been stranded on a desert island, you’ve been subjected to the hype about the new iPhone. With its multiple uses — it’s a phone, music player, and can search the Internet, to name a few — Lucy Bernholz wonders if the new device will have a function for charitable giving.

“What will be the first iPhone philanthropy application? And where will it come from?” writes the nonprofit consultant on her blog, Philanthropy 2173. “You can even listen to your own music play list while you consider your giving options.”

What do you think? Will the iPhone lead to some kind of iPhilanthropy application? Click on the comments link below this post to share your thoughts.
