Don Imus’s Fund-Raising Event Takes In $2.3-Million

Even though Don Imus was fired from his CBS radio show on Thursday, he has been proceeding over the past few days with a planned charity radiothon, which raised $2.3-million, according to the Associated Press.
The event raised money for three children’s charities: the CJ Foundation for SIDS, the Imus Ranch, and the Tomorrows Children’s Fund. The event has raised more than $40-million since 1990.
