Fund-Raising Company Shakes Up Leadership

The online fund-raising company Kintera shuffled its senior management in response to concerns from investors, reports The San Diego Union-Tribune.
The company’s chief operating officer, Richard N. LaBarbera, was appointed president, and board member Alfred R. Berkeley III replaced founder Harry Gruber as chairman.
Mr. Gruber will remain on the board and continue to serve as Kintera’s chief executive. The changes appear to be an attempt to calm dissatisfied investors who are upset about Kintera’s history of losses and other problems, the paper reports.
