Drug Company Gives $10-Million to Cancer Society

AstraZeneca, an international pharmaceutical company based in London, pledged $10-million to the American Cancer Society, in Atlanta, reports the Associated Press.
The donation will support the charity’s efforts to provide cancer patients with transportation, financial and emotional assistance, and other aid. The donation is the second-largest in the Cancer Society’s history, officials said.
