Several companies and charities are working to help victims of last week’s Florida tornadoes recover, reports WESH, in central Florida.
The Walt Disney Company has given $50,000 and water, blankets, games, and other items to the American Red Cross to aid those affected by the tornadoes, which caused millions of dollars of damage and left 20 people dead.
Suddath Relocation Systems is offering containers to victims to store their nondamaged items, and the Salvation Army is sending out mobile kitchens. Feed the Children, in Oklahoma, has sent two trucks carrying food, drinks, cleaning supplies, and paper products.
The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation announced in a press release that it made unrestricted contributions of $50,000 to the Red Cross of Central Florida and $25,000 to Catholic Charities of Central Florida to deal with the disaster.
