Obituary: Ira D. Wallach, New York Philanthropist

Ira D. Wallach, a former chief executive of Central National-Gottesman, a paper-product marketer in Purchase, N.Y., died on Saturday at age 97, reports The New York Times.
The Miriam G. and Ira D. Wallach Foundation, the philanthropy he founded with his wife, gave money to many groups, including the American Museum of Natural History, Columbia University, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the New York Public Library.
