Rare Coin Dropped in Salvation Army Kettle

An anonymous donor dropped a rare 1908 Indian head gold coin wrapped in protective plastic into one of the Salvation Army’s holiday collection kettles in Barre, Vt., reports the Associated Press.
The artifact could fetch up to $14,000 when the aid organization sells it, which it says it may do before the end of the month.
