Gates Foundation Gives $15.5-Million to California Schools

Setting out to improve instruction, teacher training, business management, and parental involvement, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is giving $15.5-million to help low-performing schools in California, reports the Associated Press.
The money will support groups of experts who will help schools identified as needing improvement under the federal No Child Left Behind Act, the news agency reports.
