August 29, 2006
The rap star Eminem will try his hand at sneaker design to raise money for two charities, reports The Associated Press.
Eminem was tapped by Nike to design a limited-edition collection of Air Max sneakers that will be auctioned for charity.
The proceeds will benefit Eminem’s own Marshall Mathers Foundation, which supports organizations in southeast Michigan that aid needy youngsters, and Ninemillion.org, a global campaign to bring educational and sports programs to children in refugee camps.
