Relief Groups Suffer Losses in Afghan Riots

The headquarters of CARE International in Kabul, Afghanistan, was doused with gasoline and burned to rubble during the recent riots, reports The Washington Post.

CARE’s country director, Paul Barker, said the attack destroyed three years of records. Offices of a half dozen other foreign aid organizations were also attacked and looted.
