First Czech Food Bank Opens

The Czech Republic opened its first food bank recently, reports the Czech Business Weekly.
The Czech Food Bank Federation, in Prague, is expected to process 800 tons of food each year. Sixteen other countries in the European Union have similar organizations, with France operating the largest number of such groups.
