Cisco Systems, in San Jose, Calif., has announced a $20-million gift over three years to help rebuild and improve schools in Louisiana damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Approximately half of the donation will be cash, the other half equipment and expertise. The company announced a similar $20-million gift for Mississippi schools in October.
