Web Site to Aid New Orleans Teachers

Teachers in New Orleans are poised to become a beneficiary of the New York charity Donors Choose, which has pledged to funnel at least $262,000 to the educators, reports The Times-Picayune, in New Orleans.
The teachers are encouraged to post their wish lists—including field trips, art projects, and science experiments—on the group’s Web site to receive gifts from individual donors.
