AID FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS
February 21, 2006
International Health Partners, in Wadhurst, England, has negotiated the delivery of 280,000 doses of a meningitis vaccine to victims of last year’s devastating earthquake in Kashmir, as well as free or discounted air freight and logistical support from other companies, reports The Financial Times. The organization, which started operations a year ago, is working to establish itself as a “matchmaker” of drug supplies and medical needs during disaster-response efforts.
