REMEMBERING COMMUNISM

The Wall Street Journal reports a recent international move to preserve the memory of the Cold War and its horrors. To add to memorials and museums across Eastern Europe, the United States plans to open the Victims of Communism Memorial, in Washington, and a Cold War museum in Lorton, Va. The Wende Museum, in Los Angeles, also houses an extensive collection of artifacts from the Communist era. (A paid subscription is required to view this article.)
