DONOR INFORMATION IMPROPERLY OBTAINED

Officials at the University of Notre Dame say donor information has been obtained by a hacker but they do not know the extent of the damage, reports the Associated Press. The hacker could have gained access to images of checks from donors, but none of the donors have reported that their financial records have been affected, according to the university. A spokeswoman for the university declined to say how many donors could be affected.
