Publication Covers Global Philanthropy

England’s Charities Aid Foundation has joined with the Dutch publisher Kluwer Law International to produce periodicals and reference works about philanthropy worldwide.

One of their efforts involves the publication of Alliance, a journal that focuses on civic partnerships.

When first published several years ago, the journal focused on legal and professional matters of interest mostly to corporate-giving executives. In its new incarnation, Alliance aims to appeal also to private and government grant makers, non-profit groups, and citizen activists around the world.

Other joint efforts include regular updates of International Charitable Giving: Laws and Taxation, as well as two new series of publications: one examining controversial issues in philanthropy, the other focusing on non-profit activities in individual countries.
