African American Nonprofit Network (Washington): Appointed Maxine B. Baker, former president and chief executive officer of the Freddie Mac Foundation (McLean, Va.) and vice president of community relations at Freddie Mac (McLean), to be president. This group connects African Americans in the Washington area to leadership positions at nonprofit organizations.

American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar (Richmond, Va.): Appointed Christy S. Coleman, vice president at the Arts Consulting Group, based in Detroit, to be president.

American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science (New York): Appointed Marshall S. Levin, senior associate national director and director of national development at the Anti-Defamation League (New York), to be chief executive officer and executive vice president. He succeeds Martin Kraar, who is now a philanthropy consultant.

American India Foundation (New York): Appointed Ethan Veneklasen, director of development at Muse Productions (Emeryville, Calif.), to be regional director for the West Coast, based in Santa Clara, Calif.

American Lung Association (New York): Appointed Kim Schwartz, vice president of finance at the American National Red Cross (Washington), to be chief financial officer.
