Arts Corps (Seattle): Appointed Elizabeth Whitford, community-investment director, to be executive director. She succeeds Lisa Fitzhugh, founder, who has resigned.

Calcutta House (Philadelphia): Appointed Matthew Teter, director of development and communications at Doorways (St. Louis), to be executive director. Calcutta House provides housing and support services to homeless people with AIDS.

Catholic Foundation of North Georgia (Atlanta): Appointed Nancy Coveny, executive director of Homestretch (Roswell, Ga.), to be executive director.

Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties (St. Paul): Appointed Clarence Hightower, president and chief executive officer of the Minneapolis Urban League, to be executive director.

Human Rights First (New York): Appointed Elisa Massimino, director of the organization’s Washington office, to be executive director and chief executive officer. Minneapolis Urban League: Appointed David Oguamanam, program-services director, to be interim president and chief executive officer.

Minnesota Public Radio (St. Paul): Appointed Steve Nelson, program director for The Current, the organization’s music program, to be program director for the statewide regional-news network, a newly created position.
