Charity Navigator (Mahwah, N.J.): Appointed Ken Berger, chief operating officer of Jawonio, a charity in New City, N.Y., that provides services to people with disabilities, to be president and executive director.

College Access Foundation (San Francisco): Appointed Julia I. Lopez, senior vice president at the Rockefeller Foundation (New York), to be president and chief executive officer.

Exploratorium (San Francisco): Appointed Ann Dabovich, director of development at the Myelin Repair Foundation (Saratoga, Calif.), to be director of development.

Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital (Washington): Appointed Nancy Wood, media-relations manager at AARP (Washington), to be director of public relations.

Nonprofit Finance Fund (Philadelphia): Appointed Kim Cook, director of corporate relations and sponsorships for the Philadelphia Zoo, to be program manager for Philadelphia arts and culture.

Pew Charitable Trusts (Philadelphia): Announced the death of Philip E. Clapp, deputy managing director of the Pew Environment Group, on September 17. He was 54.
