Ecotrust and the Better Angels Society Get New Leaders

Ecotrust

Jeremy Barnicle, former chief development and communications officer at Mercy Corps, was named executive director of Ecotrust, a nonprofit in Portland, Ore., that promotes environmentally sound economic development.

Mr. Barnicle worked with Mercy Corps for 11 years. During his time as head fundraiser, he helped raise more than $300 million in donations for the global humanitarian organization. He previously worked as a consultant and was a press officer at State Department.

American Society of Clinical Oncology

Clifford Hudis, vice president for government relations and chief advocacy officer and chief of the breast-medicine service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, was appointed chief executive.

Better Angels Society

Amy Margerum Berg, executive vice president for development and operations and corporate secretary at the Aspen Institute, will be president.

Susan Kotcher, chief development and communications officer at Pro Mujer, was appointed executive director.

Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco

Max Hollein, director of the Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt, and director of the Städel Museum and the Liebieghaus Sculpture Collection, will be director.

Florida Philanthropic Network

Stacy Carlson, vice president and director of the college and career-readiness program at Helios Education Foundation, was named chief executive.

Gulf Coast Jewish Family and Community Services

Sandra Braham, chief executive of the Young Women’s Christian Association of El Paso del Norte Region, will be chief executive.

Skin Cancer Foundation

Dan Latore, director of corporate partnerships, was promoted to executive director.

Stacey Glassman Mizener, vice president for marketing and business development at Metro 1, will be vice president for development at Faena Art.

Joyce Hendricks, vice president for development at Rutgers University Foundation, was named vice president and chief philanthropy officer at the Institute of International Education.

Bob Pilon, chief development officer for the ONE Campaign, will be executive vice president for social impact at Participant Media.

Legacies:

Claudine Brown, who directed the arts and culture program at Nathan Cummings Foundation for 15 years, died on March 17.
