A Departure at Livestrong and a New Leader at the Center for Arts Education

Center for Arts Education

Lisa Robb, executive director of the New York State Council on the Arts, will join the Center for Arts Education as its executive director. The organization promotes arts education in New York City’s public schools.

At the state council, which she has led since 2011, Ms. Robb manages a $40-million grants program. Previously she oversaw the Pelham Art Center and served as director of operations at the Bronx Museum of the Arts.

First Tee of Orange County

Gail Courtney, executive director of the Downey Chamber of Commerce, was named executive director.

Livestrong Foundation

Chandini Portteus has resigned as chief executive of the foundation after holding the post for 10 months. Greg Lee, chief financial officer of the foundation, will succeed her as chief executive.

Miracle Flights

Mark Brown, an independent marketing and communications consultant, was named chief executive.

Robert Sterling Clark Foundation

Philip Li, chief operating officer at the Century Foundation, will be chief executive.

Other notable changes:

Valentine Kang Gelman, director of campaign programs and advancement resources and director of development relations at Cambridge in America, will be senior vice president for advancement at the Music Center.

Paul Markham, a senior program officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, was appointed vice president for strategic partnerships and development at Achieving the Dream.

Christine Novak Micka, director of development at Greyston Foundation, was appointed vice president for institutional advancement at Andrus.

Terry Morello, senior vice president for external affairs at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, was appointed chief advancement officer for the Public Theater.

Angela Gugle Parsons, associate director and director of donor services and development, was promoted to vice president for donor services and development at the Columbus Foundation.

Rani Snyder, chief executive of the Nevada Medical Center, will be the program director at the John A. Hartford Foundation.

John Sullivan, executive director of the Center for International Private Enterprise, will retire.
