Actor Captains $10-Million Philanthropic Enterprise

William Shatner, the former Star Trek and current Boston Legal actor, has traveled to Israel to raise $10-million to establish programs in the country that help disabled children through horseback riding, reports the Associated Press.
Such “therapeutic riding” helps improve the children’s health, he told the news wire.
