The Opening the Doors Wider in Nursing Learning Center, a 46-year-old adult education organization in Dorchester, Mass., has suspended operations because it does not have enough money to continue operations, according to information on the center’s Web site. Members of the center’s Board of Directors told the Dorchester Reporter newspaper that they are trying to find ways to continue the group’s mission, possibly by merging with another nonprofit organization after the sale of the center’s building is complete or by finding a new location in which to operate.
