Anti-Hunger Group Updates Web Site

March 12, 1998 | Read Time: 1 minute

Second harvest, the country’s largest chain of food banks, has revamped its Web site.

The site now features legislative updates, a section on the grocery industry that highlights a “donor of the month,” and an on-line version of the Second Harvest Update magazine.

The charity has also started a Web campaign called “Hunger Has a Cure.” To draw attention to hunger, Second Harvest is asking other Web sites to post the charity’s banners and link to its site.

On March 10, Second Harvest plans to post the results from “Hunger: The Faces & Facts,” its quadrennial survey of hunger in America.
