Artists Examine How to Develop International Audiences

April 19, 2001 | Read Time: 1 minute

Working Paper #2: Developing Audiences for International Artistic Collaboration examines theoretical and practical methods of helping to grow audiences for international artistic cooperation. The paper includes case studies, discussion summaries, and a commissioned essay presented in Seattle in May 2000 to members of International Collaboration in the Arts, which studies best practices in transnational cooperation. Catherine Ugwu, co-director of the Live Art Development Agency, in London, wrote the commissioned essay. The publication is the second in a series of four papers to be released by Arts International and was published with support from the Ford Foundation through its Internationalizing New Work in the Performing Arts program.
