Aspen Institute Latinos and Society Program
Domenika Lynch will be the new executive director of this program, which aims to create economic-development opportunities in the United States for Latino workers. She most recently served as president and CEO of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute.
Genesis Philanthropy Group
Marina Yudborovsky, director of strategy and operations, has been promoted to CEO of this foundation that supports Jewish organizations across the world.
She succeeds Ilia Salita, who died from cancer on June 29. He was 52.
Open Society Foundations
Camilla Croso will lead its new education program, which will cover the combined portfolios of its higher-education and education-support programs in addition to new grant making and advocacy.
Most recently, Croso was general coordinator of the Latin American Campaign for the Right to Education, based in Brazil.

Andrew Flagel, vice president for advancement and member engagement at the Association of American Colleges and Universities, has been named president and chief executive of the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area.
Zeke Smith, vice president of programs at FoodCorps, will become president of the Empire Health Foundation on October 1.
Richenda Van Leeuwen will become executive director of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs on September 1. Most recently she was managing director at Empowering Clean Economies.
Other Notable Appointments
Kayce Ataiyero, director of communications, has been promoted to managing director of communications at the Joyce Foundation.
Scott Barrett will become vice president of university advancement at California State University at Dominguez Hills on August 24. He currently serves as associate dean for external affairs and chief advancement officer at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
Madeline Cross-Parkin, a professional pianist and recent graduate from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, has been appointed director of music grants at the Frederic and Jocelyne Scheer Foundation, in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Karen Isble will join Kalamazoo College as vice president for advancement on September 14. She is currently associate vice chancellor and campaign director for university advancement at the University of California at Irvine.
Shelly Watts, lead director of strategic funding at Woodside Bible Church and Foundation, has been named vice president of fund development at the United Way for Southeastern Michigan.
Alison White has been appointed research, learning, and evaluation program officer for the Great Apes and Gibbons Program at the Arcus Foundation. She has been working as a consultant to the foundation since 2012.
Departures
Clint Mabie intends to retire as president and CEO of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona on December 31. He has led the $165 million community fund since 2010.
Michael Pastreich is leaving after one year as executive director of the Washington Ballet.
Siobhan Reardon, president and director of the Free Library of Philadelphia since 2008, has resigned following employee allegations of racial discrimination in the workplace.
On August 31, Doug Shipman will depart the Woodruff Arts Center after three years as president and CEO. Hala Moddelmog, former president and CEO of the Metro Atlanta Chamber, will lead the Atlanta arts and culture institution on an interim basis, pending the selection of a permanent replacement.
