The University of Pennsylvania is creating a new prize of up to $150,000 to support projects led by its graduates, the Daily Pennsylvanian reports.

President Amy Gutmann announced the President’s Engagement Prizes in an email to the university’s Class of 2015 on Monday. The prizes are open to seniors and up to three will be awarded. Applications will be made available starting in August for the start of the fall semester. The money will include up to $50,000 for living expenses and up to $100,000 to execute the project.

The prizes dovetail with another university effort, called the Penn Compact 2020, which seeks to drive student engagement, according to university officials.
