Atlantic Philanthropies Chief to Resign in 2007

John R. Healy, chief executive officer of the Atlantic Philanthropies, in Hamilton, Bermuda, will resign in September 2007, the organization reports.
Mr. Healy, who signed on to become CEO for a five-year term in September 2001, has extended his contract for an additional year to help find a replacement. During his tenure, he negotiated the foundation’s plan to cease grant making and other operations in 2016.
In the announcement, Mr. Healy said he plans to return to Ireland, his home country.
