Bits: Accenture Foundations Awards $1.5-million to the Aidmatrix Foundation

- The second annual NetSquared Conference, scheduled for May 29-30 in San Jose, Calif., will focus on improving and promoting 20 projects that use social-networking sites and other technologies to promote social change. Organizers are accepting project nominations through April 6. Registered users at the NetSquared site will vote from April 9 to April 14 to decide which projects are featured at the meeting. - The Accenture Foundations have awarded $1.5-million to the Aidmatrix Foundation, a Dallas organization that has built technology systems that link companies with surplus products and charities that can put those supplies to good use.
