Bits: CitizenSpeak Creator Wins Antonio Pizzigati Prize

  • All six candidates for governor of Minnesota have agreed to participate in an online debate sponsored by the Blandin Foundation, in Grand Rapids, Minn., and E-Democracy.org, a nonprofit organization in Minneapolis that uses technology to try to increase civic engagement.   • George Hotelling has won the first Antonio Pizzigati Prize for Software in the Public Interest for his work on CitizenSpeak, a free service that grass-roots organizations can use to send advocacy e-mail messages.
