- The Hunger Site, a popular Web site where corporate sponsors make a gift every time a visitor clicks on the site’s “Donate free food” button (The Chronicle, February 24), is expanding the reach of its hunger-relief efforts. The site, which since its creation in June 1999 has raised money for the United Nations World Food Programme exclusively, will now divide gifts evenly among that organization, America’s Second Harvest, and Mercy Corps International. - Worth.com, a new Web site for wealthy people, includes a section on charitable giving. It provides articles on philanthropy, information on giving techniques and tax issues related to giving, and discussion areas for donors.
