Abilities (Albertson, N.Y.): Appointed John D. Kemp, executive director of the US Business Leadership Network (Washington), to be president and chief executive officer. He succeeds Edmund L. Cortez, who has retired. Abilities works to integrate disabled people into society.
American Technion Society (New York): Appointed Michael Schementi, vice president and chief financial officer, to be senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Art Institute of Chicago: Appointed Elizabeth Hurley, executive director of the Grant Park Music Festival (Chicago), to be vice president for development.
Arts League of Michigan (Detroit): Appointed Mary L. Hollens, senior director of development at Wayne State U. Law School (Detroit), to be chief development officer.
Association of Small Foundations (Washington): Appointed Henry L. Berman, acting chief executive officer and former president of the Edith Glick Shoolman Children’s Foundation (New York), to be chief executive officer.
