British Police Search Charity’s Islamic School
September 5, 2006
British police last week searched an Islamic charity’s private school in southern England to see if it had ties to terrorists, reports The New York Times.
Jameah Islameah, the charity that runs the school of the same name, says it provides training to Islamic teachers and classes for those without access to Islamic teaching.
Officials of the school did not comment on the allegations that the institution might have ties to terrorists.
