Catholic Relief Services (Baltimore): Announced the resignation of Ken Hackett, president, effective January 2012. He will serve as a consultant to the organization.
Community Colleges of Spokane Foundation (Wash.): Appointed Tony Higley, president of Certified Appraisal (Spokane), to be executive director, and Julie Lockhart, a recruitment coordinator at Inland Northwest Blood Center (Spokane), to be manager of development.
EcoHealth Alliance (New York): Appointed Joanne Mazurki, a marketing consultant based in New York and former director of the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade (New York), to be executive vice president for development and marketing.
Eno Transportation Foundation (Washington): Announced the resignation of Stephen D. Van Beek, president and chief executive officer. He will become chief policy and strategy officer at LeighFisher, a transportation-management consulting firm.
Georgetown U. Hospital (Washington): Appointed Mary Kathleen Coyle, senior director of development for the Cardiovascular Institute in the School of Medicine at Stanford U. (Calif.), to be vice president for philanthropy.
KnowledgeWorks (Cincinnati): Appointed Brian Ross, chief operating officer at Cincinnati Bell, to be president, responsible for daily operations at this organization that teaches real-world skills to high-school students.
Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra: Appointed Rachel Fine, executive director of the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus, to be executive director. She succeeds Andrea Laguni, who is now the orchestra’s general manager.
Mary Baldwin College (Staunton, Va.): Appointed David Atchley, vice president for advancement at Presbyterian College (Clinton, S.C.), to be vice president for institutional advancement.
Moravian College and Moravian Theological Seminary (Bethlehem, Pa.): Appointed Gary Carney, a development officer at Lafayette College (Easton, Pa.), to be vice president for institutional advancement.
Mount St. Mary’s U. (Emmitsburg, Md.): Appointed Robert J. Brennan, executive director of the Foundation for Physical Therapy (Alexandria, Va.), to be vice president of university advancement.
National Minority Supplier Development Council (New York): Appointed Joset B. Wright, former executive director of Orchard Village (Chicago), to be president. This organization helps minority-owned businesses by encouraging large corporations to use their services.
Northwestern U. (Evanston, Ill.): Appointed Bob McQuinn, associate vice president for development at the California Institute of Technology (Pasadena), to be vice president for alumni relations and development.
