CELEBRITIES AND HURRICANE FUND RAISING

Celebrities including the rap star Snoop Dogg and the soccer player Mia Hamm have donated items for an online fund-raising effort to help hurricane victims, reports the Associated Press. Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation joined with Habitat for Humanity to sponsor the event, “Housewarming for Habitat,” which will be held on eBay from February 20 through March 9. Proceeds will go to the Habitat for Humanity Operation Home Delivery Fund, which will build homes in areas devastated by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
