CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

March 16, 2006

Internet companies and financial institutions have teamed up with a nonprofit group to curb child pornography by making it more difficult to use credit cards and other online means to pay for it, reports The Wall Street Journal. The coalition is run by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children. Its other founders include America Online, American Express, Bank of America, eBay, and Yahoo. (A paid subscription is required to view this article.)
